Taylor Swift was left waiting over an hour after Travis Kelce turned up late to the airport with her private jet awaiting his arrival for them to take off.
Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are now on a bye week after a perfect 5-0 start to the season with the team having a week off before returning. It means the NFL star traveling is to Swift’s home for a few days before the pop sensation returns to the stage.
But as they traveled in separate vehicles to the airport, Swift and her father Scott, had to wait an hour before Kelce had arrived. According to the Daily Mail, he was looking flustered as he was seen hurrying onto the plane.
A member of Swift’s security was said to have greeted Kelce when he arrived as they marched over to the Gulfstream private jet to escort him. He was seen rushing up the stairs onto the vehicle before they quickly took off.
Kelce will likely be spending time with Swift due to them being apart for a few weeks, with the singer set to return to the stage on October 18, when she will jet down to Miami for three nights. She will then be in New Orleans and Indianapolis before having nine shows in Toronto and Vancouver from November 14 through December 8.

Her busy schedule means it’s unlikely that she’ll be seen at any Chiefs games soon, having missed games three and four while letting the NFL star focus on the season. The Chiefs’ bye week means Kelce will be away from the facility until October 15 – with him likely to be in New York with Swift until that time.
Having missed Kelce’s 35th birthday celebrations in the week, Swift spent time with his teammates’ partners after their recent win.
Swift was in a video with Mecole Hardman’s wife, as she asked the pop superstar “How do you feel after this win,” which Swift responded by saying: “No, it’s important that you answer the question this time,” before Gordon continued: “I think that we feel really good about this week, we are 5-0.” Swift then interjected: “Going into a bye week”.
Kelce has had a slow start to the season, registering just 69 yards in his first three games, but has put in back-to-back impressive performances with 159 yards in their last two games.
