Taylor Swift wore glitter freckles, so now thousands of Swifties around the world are wearing glitter freckles — if they can get their hands on them, that is.
After the pop star wore Fazit Makeup Patches to the Chiefs game on Monday, glittering temporary tattooed freckles speckled across her cheekbones and nose, the relatively unknown beauty brand instantaneously blew up. Two days later, Aliett Buttelman, the small business cofounder, posted a video to TikTok of her sobbing over the inundation of orders, with the caption: “POV: Taylor Swift is wearing your glitter freckle brand Fazit at the Chiefs Game.”
Wearing a plaid Vivienne Westwood dress and knee-high black boots, Swift paired the unique beauty accessory with her classic red lip, high pony and gold jewelry. She even wore Chiefs-inspired nails, a mix of metallic, gold and silver in different lighting.
Buttelman later told WWD that in the 12 hours since Swift was photographed wearing Fazit, “sales and web traffic have skyrocketed by over 1,000 percent. Urban Outfitters sold out yesterday, and now, every retailer is reaching out to us.”
Thankfully, Fazit is now back in stock on many retailers now that they’ve caught up to the overwhelming popularity. On Amazon, the temporary tattoos are available in the gold, as worn by Swift, in addition to the rose gold.
This is far from the first time that Swift has made headlines for her beauty and sartorial choices at a Chiefs game, where she’s now a frequent fixture. She often wears an “87” pendant necklace by Stephanie Gottlieb, nodding to her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s jersey number, and her rhinestone slit jeans from Area at the Super Bowl was one of her best outfit choices.
Thankfully, the Fazi Makeup Patches are much more affordable. Purchase Swift’s glitter freckles below — before they sell out:
