Kelce high-fived Chiefs fans wearing blonde wigs and heart-shaped sunglasses as he celebrated his team’s 27-20 win against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Oct. 27
Travis Kelce is celebrating with some familiar-looking fans!
On Sunday, Oct. 27, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, celebrated his team’s 27 – 20 win against the Las Vegas Raiders in Las Vegas by greeting fans at Allegiant Stadium.
In an Instagram video shared by the Kansas City Chiefs and Kingdom Crew, Kelce walked to the sidelines and clapped the hands of many fans, including individuals dressed up as his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs also shared a carousel of photos from the victorious game. A snap featured Kelce smiling as he put his hand out by the fans who wore blonde fringed wigs and love heart-shaped sunglasses to impersonate Swift, 35.
One of the fans also held a sign reading, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs. Tight End 87,” referencing Swift’s song “Karma” and her lyric change for Kelce and his jersey number.
Swift has often changed the lyrics in “Karma” from “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” while her boyfriend has been in the audience of her Eras Tour, but on Oct. 20, the pop superstar celebrated her man’s win against the 49ers in San Francisco by changing the lyrics once again.
Sunday’s win against the Raiders saw Kelce score his first touchdown of the NFL season.
The athlete caught a touchdown pass in the second quarter of the game from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
This increased the lead against the Raiders to 14-0 ahead of the second half, before the Chiefs won by 27-20.
Kelce hadn’t scored a touchdown catch in 12 regular season games before Sunday’s victory.
His girlfriend — who has been spotted attending multiple Chiefs games this season — was not present at Sunday’s game as she was 1,700 miles away on her Eras Tour in New Orleans. However, fans spotted the musician making what appeared to be a sweet nod to Kelce during the concert with some hand gestures in her performance of her 2022 track “Midnight Rain.”
Swift performed at the Caesars Superdome on Oct. 25, 26 and 27, bringing singer Sabrina Carpenter onstage with her during Saturday’s show to perform a surprise mashup of Carpenter’s songs “Espresso” and “Please, Please Please,” as well as Swift’s track “Is It Over Now?”
