Lily Collins Hopes ‘Emily in Paris’ Heads to London

Could Emily in London be on the cards?

Emily in Paris Season 4 Ending Explained:

After conquering Paris and zipping around Rome on the back of a moped, Lily Collins is eager for her hit Netflix show Emily in Paris to move to the British capital.

Collins, 35, told the BBC a London-based spinoff “would be so fun,” adding that Emily would feel right at home in the city.

“She would definitely go to Portobello Road and buy some antiques, obviously visit Big Ben and toy shop Hamleys,” Collins said in an interview published on Thursday, October 31.

“She would also definitely try and get into Buckingham Palace,” Collins added, adding that Emily would “try and get the guards to smile but I’m not sure she’d be able to do that.”

Collins, who is currently living in London as she appears in a new West End play, is also a fan of the city.Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 2 Trailer Introduces a New Love Interest for Emily:
“I love the Tube but most of all I love sitting on the front of a double-decker bus and looking out of the window,” she said. “I don’t even have a plan on where I want to go, I just sit there and see all the sights and people.”

Emily in Paris season 4, which aired between August and September, concluded with Collins’ protagonist leaving Paris — and heartthrob chef Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo — to set up a new outpost of marketing firm Agence Grateau in Rome. Emily also found a new Italian love interest in Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini.

Collins’ costar, Lucas Bravo, recently revealed his frustration with his role on the show and hinted that he may leave the Netflix comedy ahead of season 5

“The ‘sexy chef’ was very much part of me in season 1 and we grew apart season after season because of the choices he makes and because of the direction they make him take,” Bravo admitted to IndieWire in an interview published Tuesday, October 29. “I’ve never been so far away from him.”

Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 2 Trailer Introduces a New Love Interest for Emily:

“In season 1, there was a lot of me in him. But as they made him kind of unaware of his surroundings, of the dynamic, always victimizing and always being completely lost in translation and oblivious to anything that is happening around him and being manipulated by everyone, it kind of became not fun for me to shoot,” Bravo said. “Or to see a character I love so much and brought me so much, being slowly turned into guacamole. I really grew apart from him.”

As for his future on the show, Bravo said, “It makes me question if I want to be part of season 5 — because my contract ends at season 4. I really want to see if Gabriel gets back to his fun, cheeky, playful, alive self. Because three seasons playing melancholic, sad, depressed, and lost is not fun anymore. It’s a comedy, everybody is having fun around me, everybody is jumping around, and I’m just slowly sinking into god knows what.”
