Jason Kelce Smashes Fan's Phone For Homophobic Slur About Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift - Daily Snark

A video of Jason Kelce smashing a heckler’s phone at Penn State went viral on Saturday, sparking questions about how ESPN, one of his employers, might respond.

The former NFLer was on-site for the Nittany Lions’ matchup against Ohio State at Beaver Stadium. Kelce — an analyst on “Monday Night Countdown” — appeared on “College GameDay” and was also spotted tailgating with some fans prior to the matchup.

Kelce, carrying a case of beer, was approached by a heckler whose comment about his brother, Travis Kelce, triggered his reaction.

“Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a (expletive) for dating Taylor Swift?” the heckler said.

Kelce turned around and grabbed the heckler’s phone, slamming it on the ground. Later in the incident, Kelce can be heard saying, “Who’s the (expletive) now?”

Former NFL player Jason Kelce
Most people praised Kelce for his actions, though it’s important to note that any form of violence should always be a last resort. As of now, ESPN does not plan to comment, according to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports.

“FYI, ESPN not commenting on Jason Kelce incident,” McCarthy wrote on X. “The Eagles center turned ‘Monday Night Countdown’ analyst smashed a punk’s phone for making offense remarks about his brother Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.”

Kelce is scheduled to appear on “Monday Night Countdown” as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
