Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her teenage daughter Arabella attended Taylor Swift’s recent concert in Miami, Florida, even though the ex-president hates the pop star.
Ivanka took her daughter, who she shares with husband Jared Kushner, along with her friends “to see one of her daughter’s favorite artists” at the Hard Rock Stadium this past weekend, sources divulged to Page Six. Arabella seems to be a superfan as she celebrated her birthday in July with a Taylor Swift-themed birthday cake. It was designed with Taylor’s 2014 Blank Space lyric, “Boys only want love if it’s torture.”
Ivanka sweetly captioned the photo she shared of her daughter’s cake on Instagram: “Best cake for my favorite Swiftie.”
Ironically, Donald is anti-Taylor, unlike his daughter and granddaughter. Last month the Republican presidential nominee ranted on his social media site Truth Social “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” in all caps. Donald’s diss came after the Grammy winner endorsed Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris for president in the upcoming November election.
“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight,” Taylor wrote in her endorsement post on Instagram following the presidential debate in September. “If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.”
She added: “Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
Taylor noted the reasons why she was voting for Harris and the politico’s Vice President pick Tim Walz in her post.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” she expressed. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”
While Donald isn’t a fan of Taylor, he likes her bestie Brittany Mahomes “much better” because “she’s a big Trump fan,” according to Page Six.
